The recorder includes Dolby C noise reduction and has a frequency response of 40Hz to 18kHz with a signal-to-noise ratio of 78dB weighted. It also has a unique feature where the front panel can be removed to serve as a remote control unit, allowing for operation up to 5 meters away from the machine.
